There are two Elon Phi Mu sorority rushing events on this video. The first rushing party was held on October 9, 1986 at the Elon Lodge with a fraternity. The women and men danced and chatted throughout the evening. The second Elon Phi Mu private rushing party occurred on October 15, 1986 at the Phi Mu house. Some notable video shots include: the Phi Mu painted rock, women entering the Phi Mu house, a stuffed tiger sitting on a beach chair, a Phi Mu sign in Greek letters, women chanting “Phi Mu is number one,” a themed sea and ski party occurring with the sisters, and the framing of past Phi Mu Gamma Nu chapter sisterhood portraits.
