This video titled, "Touchdown Thursday," was video recorded in the Black Box Theatre on October 20, 1997. The Touchdown Thursday show was hosted by Trip Durham. Durham interviewed the Elon"s Head Football Coach, Al Seagraves. The discussion revolved around the past Saturday"s football between the Fightin" Christians and Western Carolina (Catamounts). The Fightin" Christians won the game with a score of 17 to 16. Elon finished 5 to 0 at home in 1997. Seagraves spoke of the Elon Homecoming game with 8,000 fans in the stands. Video highlights were played with conversation of each play between Durham and Seagraves. In the next segment of the show, "Chalk Talk" between Durham and Seagraves of the offensive and defensive plays. During the football game, Seagraves watched and coached with a wireless microphone. This raw video was played in the show at the Burlington Memorial Stadium. The 1993 Elon College vs. Samford (Bulldogs) game was discussed with a 33 to 30 victory for the Fightin" Christians. In 1997, the tradition continued with Samford in Birmingham, Alabama.
