This video titled, “First Amendment: Petition PSA,” was one of the five pre-produced pieces on the First Amendment – Petition. The Elon students narrated over concepts regarding a signature on any petition. The intention was to further the student’s First Amendment rights on petitioning. The First Amendment in the Unites States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of petition, ensuring that there is no prohibition on the free exercise of petition. The First Amendment was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.
