This video titled, “First Amendment: Freedom of Speech PSA,” was produced on the steps of Iris Holt McEwen School of Communications building in 2008. The two Elon University students pre-produced five First Amendment Public Service Announcements (PSA). They discussed censorship of speech in this particular video. The intention was to further the student’s First Amendment rights with Freedom of Speech. The First Amendment in the Unites States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of speech, ensuring that there is no prohibition on the free exercise of speech. The First Amendment was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.
