This video titled, Master of Science Physician Assistant Studies – White Coat Ceremony, was held on Friday, December 12, 2016 in the Sacred Space of Numen Lumen Pavilion. Dr. Patti Ragan stated, “The White Coat Ceremony marks a tradition of academic medicine into one of clinical practice. It reminds us that medicine is dispensing with compassion, humility, and a gift of healing. Also it reminds us of those who come behind us for the care of the patients, care of their families, and care for themselves. This is a gift as well as a responsibility. This is a day of celebration for our students completing a very challenging academic year.” The ceremony included: the Welcome given by Dr. Patti Ragan, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies (Welcome to the White Coat Ceremony); 00:02:46 the Provost’s Welcome given by Steven House, Provost and Executive Vice President; the Keynote Address given by P.
