This video, titled Connie Ledoux Book Appreciation for Bishop Luis Visit, in the spring of 2018 at Elon University. President Book stated, “I was very excited on my very first Sunday as President of Elon University that Bishop Luis (Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama, serves as the 6th Bishop of the Diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina) was coming to visit. Father (Peter) Tremblay, Associate Chaplain for Catholic Life, who runs our Catholic Campus Missionary organized the mass and the dinner. 00:00:18 And Bishop Luis brought a powerful message to our students that GOD seeks a relationship with us and we should bring ourselves to GOD. And the reminder that the greatest joy in our lives is when we are in service to others. GOD is reflected through us in the work that we do in service to others. 00:00:41 I bring that to my work here at Elon as President. And it was a powerful reminder from the Bishop of how important it is to be available others and to bring who we are to Christ.”
