This video, titled What Does Elon Day Mean to President Connie Ledoux Book, occurred in the Great Hall in the Global Neighborhood on March 1, 2018. This was President Book’s first day. She stated, Hello Elon. I am Connie Book. This is my first Elon day as president. Since I am new, I am doing a lot of listening and asking questions, and I thought on this first Elon day that it was important to hear from students about the impact of this special day. Erica Braschi, Class of 2018, said that she was thankful to people who give and support Elon on Elon Day. Alonzo Cee, Class of 2018, said that Elon Day means engagement of what students may need on campus and the university as a whole. Taylor Stuck, Class of 2018, said that Elon Day is an awesome time for alumni, parents, and people who admire and support Elon University. 00:01:11 That is the kind spirit that drew me back to this special community. Wherever you are, I hope you will join in today’s celebration and help spread the word about our university. Post about Elon Day on social media. Suggest Elon to a young person who is exploring colleges. And don’t forget to make a powerful statement in making a gift to Elon, today. Happy Elon Day, everyone. And Long Live ELON, stated President Book.
