This document contains observations from Sigmon's conversations with college intern participants. He argues that the CIC must continue to support colleges in sustaining the movement they have made toward creative partnerships with communities. In Sigmon's observations, he recounts stories from the various conversation, faculty development, infrastructure development, community partnerships, alliance meetings, leadership changes, emerging coalitions, data gathering, research interests, and connecting of academic disciplines.
