North Hall was located on Elon University’s campus, just south of the athletic fields, in Elon, North Carolina. The building was constructed for $159,000 in 1960. In 1988, the building was updated to include moderate improvements, but it still was not sufficient enough and was eventually demolished in 2001. North Hall was originally part of a three-wing war surplus building that was located east of the kitchen, which attached to the east wall of the Mooney building. Throughout its years, it was used as a cafeteria, dormitory, and office spaces.
