The Kenan Pavilion is located in the Academic Village on the corner of North Antioch Avenue and East Haggard Avenue on Elon University’s campus in Elon, North Carolina. In 2002, the William R. Kenan Charitable Trust gifted Elon University a $1.2 million endowment grant that established the Kenan Honors Fellowship. Although opened in 2002, the pavilion was not officially dedicated until October 15, 2003. This grant allowed Elon to construct the William R. Kenan, Jr. Honors Pavilion, which currently is used to house Honors Fellows and has two classrooms.
