Alumni Field House is a 30,000 square foot facility that is at the north end of Rhodes Stadium. The Field House includes the Hendrickson Football Center, Elon athletics administration and coaches, the Walker Room and Terrace, a large meeting room and locker room for football, a conference room, an athletic training room, a strength and conditioning room, and a study room. The Hendrickson Football Center was named in recognition of a $1 million gift by alumni Jay and Amy Hendrickson. The Walker Room and Terrace was named in recognition of a $500,000 gift from alumnus and trustee Zac Walker and his wife Dot. Other notable contributions include the Ward family donating $100,000 in memory of C. Max Ward ’49 and Rear Admiral Edward Walker donating $100,000. Walker also named the head football coach’s office after Jerry Tolley, who was a two-time national championship football coach for Elon.
