Colonnades Residence Halls are located in between Koury Business Center and Danieley Neighborhood. In the fall of 2007, the first two Colonnades residence halls opened, Story Hall and Moffitt Hall. The other three Colonnades residence halls, Kivette, Staley, and Harper Halls, were completed in August 2011. These three buildings were the first residence halls that meet the LEED certification standards and a geothermal heating and cooling system was installed for the residence halls and Colonnades dining hall. The first two halls offer double-bed single rooms either as stand-alone singles with private baths or in a four-bedroom suite style with two bathrooms and a living room. The second three halls offer suite style double rooms, double bed singles in stand-alone rooms or double bed singles in a two-bedroom suite style with one bathroom and a living room. Colonnades was envisioned to become a part of the residential campus initiative and is now the home of several living and learning communities including ASHES, ELONCH, Business, Multifaith Community, Honors floor, Health and Wellness, STEM, Gender and Sexuality, and Sustainable Living.
