Elon alumna Karen Cain-Henderson, class of 1990, talks about her journey to Elon, highlighting its class sizes and dedication to putting students first. Her first visit to Elon opened her eyes to the welcoming atmosphere the entire campus community provided. She describes the smiles and the conversations she had with students, staff, and custodians that made her feel comfortable and at home. She emphasizes that students should take the opportunities given through Elon's curriculum and to live their years to the fullest. Since she has graduated, she has missed only three Homecomings, making this her 35th reunion. Voices of Elon is a mini-oral history program led by the Committee on Elon History and Memory.
