Elon alumna Raquel Donaldson, class of 1992, talks about her journey to choosing Elon and the lifelong connections she has made since. She wanted a smaller, welcoming school, and Elon fit that for her. Her community comprised of the 200 Black students on campus at that time. She cherishes those friendships and the treatment of the Elon community that made her, her parents, and other Black students feel comfortable. Voices of Elon is a mini-oral history program led by the Committee on Elon History and Memory.
