Elon alum Annette Orbert, class of 1990, talks about her "nontraditional" Elon experience. She was already a staff member when she was given the idea of completing some classes during her lunch break and in the evening. She did that until she became a full-time student, while still working her job, which was in the Financial Aid office. She hopes students understand that people care about them and that it isn't simply based on grades and attendance. The staff, students, and faculty want the students to succeed beyond college.
