Letter from W.H. to Macon Ree. He expresses concern over W.H. May Jr's latest report where he failed Spanish and English. W.H. May Sr. says this is due to his being accustomed to having a coach at home and never learned to get down to real hard work and concentration. He has sent a letter to his son telling him to get the best coach to help him in his studies. Despite his disappointment in his grades in Spanish and English, W.H. May Sr. is satisfied that W.H. May Jr. is satisfied at Hampden-Sidney College.
