Correspondence between members of the UCC (United Church of Christ,) in regards to the trials and prison time of the Wilmington Ten. The Wilmington Ten are sometimes referred to as the Wilmington Nine, and Ben Chavis is referred to as a separate entity. This letter expresses Smith's concern for where the money used for Chavis' bail is coming from, and asking the UCC President to provide more information to the various congregations regarding the case.
